Adam Brittain, MD, MS, FACP

Dr. Brittain is an Internal Medicine physician at the Texas Medical Center and serves as a Hospitalist with the Medical Center Hospitalist Associates. He is trained in Surgery and Internal Medicine and is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and a member of The American College of Physicians and The American Medical Association.

Internal medicine physicians, or internists, are specialists who apply scientific knowledge and clinical expertise to the diagnosis and treatment of a spectrum of health concerns — from complex illness to chronic conditions that defy easy explanation.

My Story

As a result of my personal journey of a physician's struggle with a mysterious chronic illness, I have become dedicated to sharing my personal and professional experience with others faced with an unexplained illness to help them find answers. Thousands of people struggle with symptoms that modern, conventional medicine cannot explain. I was as skeptical as a majority of my colleagues when it came to vague, chronic complaints from patients… until it happened to me.
